The Tulamben Drop Off, or Tulamben Wall, is one of the most popular dive sites in Bali, located very close to the world-famous USAT Liberty wreck. It features a large wall that starts at about 5 meters (16 feet) and goes all the way down to almost 60 meters (200 feet).
The wall is adorned with hard and soft corals, barrel sponges, sea fans, as well as giant gorgonians at greater depths. The animal life includes black-tip sharks, Napoleon wrasses, giant parrotfish, dogtooth tuna, eagle rays, leaf scorpionfish, nudibranchs, lionfish, and pygmy sea horses.
The diving conditions are easy, the water temperature is warm, and the visibility is usually great. This ensures that even novices can dive the Tulamben Drop Off site.
