Satil is a wreck dive site that lies about 70 meters from the shore at Village Beach, Eilat. The ship was used by the Israeli secret service and the navy, and when its time to retire came, it was sunk on purpose as a training ground for divers.
The ship lies parallel to the shore and rests at a maximum depth of 25 meters/82 feet with its deck at 18 to 21 meters/59-69 feet. Penetration is possible through the place where the old deck cannon was located.
Around the wreck, you can see emperor angelfish, Arabian angelfish, pipefish, Red Sea fusiliers, sweepers, groupers, glassfish, lionfish, moray eels, octopuses, and many many other marine creatures.
