Red Sea anemonefish

Alternative names: Amphiprion bicinctus, Red Sea clownfish

The Red Sea Clownfish lives from the shallows down to 30 meters, in sheltered reefs or shallow lagoons, generally in pairs in association with an anemeone. They are small fish, ranging from 10 centimeters to 18 centimeters in length. The Red Sea clownfish has a yellow-orange to dark brown body with two white bars that have black edges, with the head bar being wider. The females tend to be longer than the males.
