Mayhem

Dive site in
Improve

Considered one of the best dives in Raja Ampat, Mayhem is a pinnacle dive known for its abundance of marine life. It lies along the western edge of the Dampier Strait, just off Gam Island.

The site is named “Mayhem” because of the currents that merge here and create a busy fish “traffic.” You don’t often see that many fish on a single dive.

Reef sharks, snappers, jacks, barracudas, fusiliers, pinnate spadefish, trumpetfish, Clark's anemonefish, batfish, moray eels, sea snakes, and pygmy seahorses are some of the creatures you can spot here.
