Seamoths are members of the family Pegasidae and they are named after the Greek god Pegasus. They have a distinguishable look, with their flattened bodies and large, wing-like, pectoral fins. These marine creatures can be found in the coastal tropical
waters of the Indo-Pacific where they can be seen "walking" across the sea bottom with their modified pelvic fins.
