La Bandera is a dive site located south of Isla Mujeres. The small reef features two rock formations, ledges, and overhangs.
This is a fun spot exhibiting high biodiversity. Some of the creatures you can spot here include schooling barracudas, angelfish, moray eels, crabs, and lobsters.
The maximum depth at La Bandera is only 12 meters/40 feet, which makes it suitable for divers of all levels. The average underwater visibility is 18 meters/60 feet, and the water is warm all year round.
