Temple is located in the south of Sharm El Sheikh. It consists of massive coral blocks that rise to just a few meters below the surface of the water. The main block is surrounded by pinnacles and so it resembles an ancient temple. There’s a swim-through at 17 meters/55 feet and a sandy plateau that slopes into the deep.
The site boasts colorful corals and sea fans of different shapes and sizes. Some of the marine animals you can spot here include blue-spotted stingrays, giant moray eels, lionfish, scorpionfish, emperor fish, butterflyfish, Napoleon wrasses, and Spanish dancers.
Temple is a popular night dive site and is suitable for all levels. Access is from the shore. Diving here is possible all year round.
