Sunset reef dive site in Gili Trawangan is a gently sloping reef with a maximum depth of about 22 meters (72 feet). Visibility is usually between 15 to 20 meters (49-66 feet). The currents can get strong at times.
There’s an abundance of underwater flora that includes both soft and hard corals, with species like staghorn, plate, brain, elephant ear, star, and leather corals.
The marine wildlife is also abundant and diverse: sweetlips, damselfish, angelfish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, snappers, and groupers are common encounters.
