Princess Penny’s Pinnacle is located on the North Wall, Grand Cayman. It was named after freediver Penny Ventura, a big fan of this dive site.
Near the mooring pin, you’ll find a memorial plaque that reads:
“In the midnight water
Under the moonlit sky
The orchestra will play
And the shadows will dance
Forever with my heart and soul”
The highlights of the dive are a solitary pinnacle and the chimney-like swim-throughs. The pinnacle is covered with black corals, sponges, and is teeming with schooling fish.
Some of the sea creatures you can see here include creole wrasses, snappers, black durgons, parrotfish, feather duster worms, spiny lobsters, sea turtles, eels, eagle rays, reef sharks, and even hammerheads.
Princess Penny’s Pinnacle has a depth of 14 to 30 meters/45-100 feet.
