Blue Peter Reef is a shallow dive site located on the North Wall, Grand Cayman. The reef is found at a depth of only 10 meters/35 feet, but you can go down a wall to a sand flat at about 15 meters/50 feet.
Divers will find a busy cleaning station visited by gobies and Spanish hogfish. Other marine animals you can spot at Blue Peter Reef include nurse sharks, porcupinefish, green moray eels, filefish, black triggerfish, fingerprint cyphoma, and flamingo tongue snails. Along the wall, you can admire beautiful purple and yellow sea fans.
Diving is possible year-round. The high season is mid-December to mid-April. October and November can bring rough waters and storms, and the chances of hurricane increase.
