Muri Muri, or White Valley, is an exceptional dive site located outside the lagoon in front of the Motu Mute Airport, Bora Bora, French Polynesia. It’s a great spot for observing schools of grey reef sharks.

The plateau is rich in hard and soft corals, as well as fish life. Among the other marine animals, you can encounter schools of jacks, barracudas, tuna, sea turtles, garden eels, and sometimes even dolphins or whales (during the migrating season which lasts from August to November).

The dive averages 20 meters; this is where you’ll find most of the fish life. The underwater visibility is excellent! However, the surface conditions can be choppy at times. Muri Muri can sometimes be done as a drift dive.
