The MS Zenobia was built in 1979 and sank just one year later on its first journey. The top of the ship is at 16 meters (52 feet) and the bottom sits at 42 meters (138 feet).

The 180 meter-(590 feet-) long ship is located just a mile away from shore. It's accessible to divers of all levels, but only wreck certified divers and technical divers can penetrate the deck and accommodation blocks.

The MS Zenobia sank with its 104 trucks and other large vehicles loaded on it. Some of the trucks can be seen outside the wreck.

The Cypriot government recognizes the site as a protected artificial wreck, which means no fishing takes place in the area. A variety of marine life consisting in reef fish, barracudas, nudibranchs, groupers, jacks, wrasses, moray eels, and turtles can be found here.

The water temperature ranges from 17 degrees Celsius (62 degrees Fahrenheit) in February to 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit) in August. The visibility is usually good, around 20 meters (65 feet), but can go up to 40 meters (131 feet).
