Staghorn Reef

Dive site in

Staghorn Reef is a nice dive site off Racha Yai Island with a reef predominately dominated by staghorn corals. Unfortunately, the ref was affected by coral bleaching in 2010 and is still recovering. It’s still not dived as much as it used to be.

Fish life is good; you can spot creatures like titan triggerfish, trumpetfish, angelfish, batfish, snappers, butterflyfish, basslets, groupers, Pharaoh cuttlefish, moray eels, and octopuses.

Staghorn Reef starts at 5 meters/16 feet and goes to as deep as 20 meters/66 feet. It is open for all divers. Great visibility.
