The Siam Bay dive site located off the northernmost bay of the island of Racha Yai is an interesting spot featuring elephant statues. The statues have been sunk here in 2006 and are very popular among divers eager to strike an interesting pose. A temple gate and several statues of mythical creatures can also be seen at this dive site. These statues are found between 18 and 20 meters (60-66 feet), which makes them accessible to divers of all levels.
Visibility at Siam Bay ranges from 10 to 25 meters (33-82 feet). Water temperature is around 29° C / 84° F and currents are mild.
Marine life includes sea turtles, octopus, stingrays, squid, snappers, groupers, triggerfish, trumpetfish, sweetlips, and many other creatures that are typically found in the Thai waters.
