Shaab Talata

Improve

Shaab Talata, also known as Tiffany or Gamilla Frida, is divided into two large reefs surrounded by small outcrops of coral and bommies. The western side of the site – about 30 meters/100 feet from the main reef, is where you can find a pinnacle and a swim-through. Eagle rays and octopus can sometimes be spotted there.

But the most interesting part of Shaab Talata is, perhaps, on the north side, where you reach the third pinnacle over a sandy bottom. White-tip reef sharks can sometimes be seen in this area.

Shaab Talata is a shallow dive site, with a maximum depth of about 15 meters/49 feet, making it suitable for divers of all levels of experience. It offers rich marine life, good visibility (up to 30 meters), and little to no current. It is reachable by boat from Hurghada. Beware of the boats, as it tends to see a lot of boat traffic, especially on its southern side.
