Panorama Reef

Improve

Panorama Reef is a reef dive site about one hour by boat east of Safaga. The sloping reef can be done as a drift dive as there’s a permanent slight current on site and sometimes a strong one.

Marine life is diverse and abundant and includes dolphins, eagle rays, barracudas, mackerels, tuna, longnose groupers, and sometimes sharks (whitetip reef sharks, silky sharks, grey sharks, and even ocean whitetip sharks).

The walls go as far down as 400 meters/1300 feet, but the dive depth is around 30 meters/100 feet. Recommended for advanced divers. Great visibility.
