Mv Sarah

Dive site in
Improve

MV Sarah is the deepest wreck dive in Anguilla, with its bottom resting on the sea floor at a depth of 25 meters and its top piercing the water at 10 meters deep. It is also the island's largest wreck, having 70 meters in length, and what really attracts divers is the fact that MV Sarah is intact and stands upright in the water.

Hurricane Klaus wrecked the ship in 1984 and the vessel was intentionally sunken in 1990, as part of Anguilla's programme of creating artificial reefs that would stimulate the local marine life, create scuba sights and clean the beaches.

MV Sarah hosts many different species of marine life.
