Madivaru Manta Point

Dive site in
Improve

Madivaru, also known as Manta Point, is a great spot for seeing manta rays during the northeast monsoon. They come here to feed on the delicious plankton brought by the currents.

Outside the manta ray season, it is still a good site for seeing many other marine creatures like Napoleon wrasses, red-toothed triggerfish, scorpionfish, moray eels, octopuses, and more.

The reef starts at 3 meters and drops gradually to 10 meters/33 feet, afterwards it goes even further down to 30 meters/100 feet. Due to the strong currents, Madivaru is recommended for advanced divers.
