Koh Tachai Pinnacle is actually made up of two pinnacles. The largest one is located to the south and you’ll start the dive from there.
The pinnacle is shaped like a dome and covered with corals. Its bottom is located at a depth of about 30 meters/100 feet and rises to 14 meters/46 feet below the surface. Around it, you’ll find other large boulders that form swim-throughs.
The smaller pinnacle rises from 25 meters and is also surrounded by boulders. The area has small coral gardens and large sea fans.
Marine life at Koh Tachai Pinnacle is abundant and diverse. You can spot anything like big stuff such as leopard sharks to small creatures like batfish.
This dive is recommended for intermediate/advanced divers. The current here is moderate to strong.
