Jeff Davis Memorial is a dive site located on the west coast of Bonaire. It was named after Jefferson Davis, the “father” of hyperbaric medicine. The site is accessible by jumping off a high ridge. With a depth of 6 to 30 meters/20-100 feet, it is suitable for experienced divers.

The reef drops steeply from 12 meters/42 feet and extends to 40 meters/130 feet. The most beautiful spots are located between 8 and 20 meters/26-6 feet. This is where you will find numerous cleaning stations and abundant marine life.

Some of the fauna you can see here includes trumpet fish, sergeant majors, blue triggerfish, cleaner fish, cleaner shrimp, Pederson shrimps, arrow crabs, seahorses, and sea turtles.

The average visibility at Jeff Davis Memorial dive site is 30 meters/100 feet. The best diving conditions in Bonaire are found from December to April. November through January is the rainy season when it is very likely to experience daily showers.
