Isuela

Improve

Isuela is a dive site located within the Portofino National Marine Reserve. It is considered one of the best dives in the Mediterranean Sea, consisting of a big rock inhabited by a range of fish, corals, and sponges.

Some of the creatures you can spot here include reg gorgonians, madrepores, false black coral, barracudas, amberjacks, snappers, groupers, tuna, moray eels, and lobsters.

The top is located at 17 meters/55 feet deep and the wall goes down to more than 50 meters/165 feet. Due to the depth and strong current, Isuela is suitable for advanced divers only. The best time to dive in this area is April to October. Excellent visibility.
