Houseguard is a dive site located on the northeast side of Gato island. The highlight of this spot are the elusive pygmy seahorses, so small that it’s very hard to see them with the naked eye. They like to hide camouflage among the gorgonians.
Other interesting creatures you can see here are the various nudibranchs, frogfish, lionfish, scorpionfish, spider crabs, cowries, and Spanish dancers.
Houseguard has a depth of 8 to 24 meters/26-78 feet and is accessible to divers of all levels within the depth limits of their certification.
