Ghar Lapsi is one of the most interesting dive sites on the Maltese coast, as it comprises a 25-meter-deep dive closer to the shore and another one, slightly further into the open sea, which goes to a maximum of 38 meters deep.
Due to the depth, as well as the fact that Ghar Lapsi has currents, it is recommended that the more advanced divers venture here.
Ghar Lapsi's most interesting and spectacular part is represented by its landforms, a system of shallow caverns which makes for outstanding photographs.
The marine life at Ghar Lapsi includes jellyfish, dory, wrasse, sea cucumbers, combers, octopus, and sometimes parrotfish.
