Fukui Point

Improve

Fukui Point is a dive site located off the southwest coast of Bunaken Island. The spot was named after a Japanese diving instructor who first described it back in the ‘80s.

As the only site in the area that’s not a wall dive, it only exhibits some sandy slopes that lead to soft and hard corals. The depth is only 15 meters/50 feet, which makes Fukui suitable for divers of all levels.

Some of the animals you can see here include giant clams, Napoleon wrasses, black snappers, blackfin barracudas, trevallies, spadefish, batfish, sweetlips, triggerfish, and garden eels.

You can dive off Bunaken Island all year round. Visibility is excellent.
