The Ferranelles dive site is located around a very small island between the Meda Petit and Tasco Petit. It's defined by a gentle slope that goes down to about 30 meters (100 feet). As your typical Mediterranean dive, it has a sandy bottom but also a seagrass floor.
The site abounds in marine life of all sorts, including eagle rays, groupers, moray eels, octopus, lionfish, and barracudas. The lucky few may even have the chance of encountering a Mola mola (moonfish).
The visibility at Ferranelles is good, ranging from 10 to 30 meters (33-100 feet), and there’s no current. The spot is suitable for divers of all levels within the limit of their certification.
