El Fanadir South is a great dive site in Hurghada that’s available for divers of all levels. it features a wall that goes from 10 to 15 meters (33-49 feet) deep, a sandy plateau at about 30 meters (100 feet), and another steep wall at a depth of 40 meters (130 feet).
The plateau features coral formations where you can spot glassfish, shrimp, and even frogfish. Close to the reef is a cleaning station where groupers and moray eels wait to be cleaned by shrimp and wrasses. Thorny seahorses, dwarf coral devil, seagrass ghostfish, and the Red Sea Walkmen can also be seen here.
El Fanadir South is best suited for diving in April, May, October, and November, when the surface temperature is not as extreme and the water temperature is pleasant.
