Dixon's Pinnacle

Improve

Dixon's Pinnacle is a large rock that rises from more than 40 meters/130 feet deep. It was discovered by a local dive instructor many years ago and is now one of the most popular dive sites off Havelock Island.

The pinnacle is covered with colorful hard and soft corals, large barrel sponges, and is also a cleaning station. Divers can spot stingrays, manta rays, whitetip reef sharks, sea turtles, Napoleon wrasses, barracudas, tuna, groupers, scorpionfish, paddle-tail snappers, stonefish, moray eels, and many other marine creatures.

Dixon's Pinnacle is recommended for advanced divers. The average visibility is around 15 meters/50 feet.
