Deep Slope is a popular dive site on the island of Malapascua in the Philippines. It consists of a plateau that looks just like an underwater sandy beach.
The dunes have tiny walls covered with corals, as well as nooks and crannies where creatures such as scorpionfish and lionfish like to hide. Look carefully at the sea fans and you may spot the pygmy seahorses. Other common inhabitants include bamboo sharks, octopuses, cuttlefish, pipefish, cowfish, frogfish, and eels.
The maximum depth at Deep Slope is 25 meters/82 feet. Diving is possible all year round; advanced divers only.
