Roatan's Blue Channel dive site is a 15-meter-deep spot, which makes it excellent and suitable for all levels of divers, including the beginners. It has an exciting and varied topography, with numerous crevices, small caves and swim-throughs.
The channel runs parallel to the shoreline.
Among the species which divers can encounter here are goatfish, moray eels, barracudas, grunts, damselfish, groupers, snappers, lobsters and triggerfish.
Although Blue Channel can be dived by novice divers as well, it is advised that divers have good buoyancy control, so that they avoid the harsh contact with the coral.
