Oceanic Dive Center was founded in 1999 by a group of Thai and Swedish divers. They are still in the same location now, and owned by Thai and British divers since 2010, but they keep their close links to Scandinavia: they have Swedish and Danish instructors, and they are still in constant contact with the previous owners. With their combined experience in the Phuket dive industry of more than 30 years, and family-owned, their treat divers more like club members than customers. Some of the divers have been diving with Oceanic since the beginning, in '99. Many have become parents since taking their first course with Oceanic, and now they're teaching their children to dive. They're looking forward to teaching the third generation of some families in the years to come!
With the owners being experienced Instructors, in active teaching status, they're regularly out diving alongside the staff. That keeps them in touch with the dive community, and, as they're regularly diving the same dive sites that you are going to visit, they can give reliable, honest and objective information to all of the divers.
