Anemone Reef

Dive site in
Improve

A dive site with a depth going from 4 meters to 28 meters, Anemone Reef received its name due to the numerous anemones which dominate this dive site.

Anemone Reef has a pinnacle of limestone which makes the local topography even more interesting and an abundant marine life, going from purple and pink corals to anemonefish, crabs, leopard sharks, clownfish, lionfish, seahorses, filefish, sweetlips, fusiliers, snappers and barracudas.

Towards increased depths there are soft and hard corals as well as sponges.

Visibility at Anemone Reef varies, and the currents also go from moderate to strong.

Anemone Reef is therefore recommended for divers of at least intermediate level.

Garden Eels is located off Danao, Panglao Island. It consists of a steep slope and a wall. On top of the wall, you can find a beautiful coral garden. Look for the interesting nudibranchs.

The most interesting part of the dive can be found at a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet, which makes this spot accessible to all divers.
