Description
Dreischor Loswal is a dive site in Lake Grevelingen, typically suitable for dabblers, underwater photographers and snorkelers. The site remains shallow for a long time (2 meters), after which the bottom slopes down to 15 meters and then rises again to 8 meters. It's not an alternative to the top sites Frans Kokrif and Gemaal, but there is plenty to see. Dive over the overgrown oyster beds, weed fields and the remnants of the old quay that once was located here. Most of the marine life you'll find among the oysters and weeds. There are several dive routes you can follow. Dive straight ahead to the left and right of the jetty. Particulars Park at Dreischor Loswal Muurtje to reach dive site Dreischor Loswal. Then walk up the sloping dike path towards the entry point. Here you'll find a bench, stairs and a platform. Get ready for your dive and enter the water next to the platform. Then dive in shallow water over the densely vegetated bottom of algae and oysters towards deeper water. Warnings Dreischor Loswal remains shallow for a long time. Use your compass.
