Description

KATSHOEK Nederland, Zeeland Challenging dive site Katshoek is a varied dive site in the Oosterschelde with similarities to a caribbean reef. The site is situated around a rock formation, with a roof top that's visible at high tide and an inner and outer reef. The overgrown rocks on the bottom are remnants of the old dike, which was located here. Particulars Both sides of the reef are totally overgrown with plumose anemones and are home to lobsters, crabs, brittlestar and blennies. Warnings Short reversal and unexpected currents. Use your compass to navigate. No diving with north to the northeastern winds, stronger than force 4.
