The spotted drum is a species of marine fish that can be found in the tropical waters of the Western Atlantic Ocean. It has an interesting an unique shape when they are juveniles. They are also unique as adults but they start to look more like a clownfish.
An interesting fact about this fish is that it got its name due to its ability to make a drumming or croaking sound by beating its abdominal muscles against the swim bladder.
