Sea slugs are marine invertebrates that resemble terrestrial slugs. Most of these animals are in fact gastropods (sea snails) that have lost their shells or have a reduced or internal shell. Sea slugs have bodies of different shapes, sizes, and color, but most are partially translucent. The largest of species can reach a length of up to 75 cm and a weight of 14 kg.
