The sculpin is a fish in the family Cotidae that lives in both sat water and fresh water. They can be found in rivers, kelp forests, tidepools, and other habitats.
There are about 300 species of sculpins, most of which are small. Some of the largest specimens can grow to 60 cm (2 feet) in length.
