Peacock Flounder

Alternative names: Bothus mancus, flowery flounder

The peacock flounder is a fish found in the Indo-Pacific and the warmer parts of the eastern Pacific. It got its name because of the flower-like bluish spots that cover its body.

They are found in shallow water on sandy bottoms but some may be seen as deep as 150 meters.
