Mourning Cuttlefish

Alternative names: Sepia plangon

The mourning cuttlefish (Sepia plangon) is a short-armed species with a highly variable color pattern. Small papillae are present over the body. But its main characteristic is its eyes, which are often surrounded by a bluish tinge. You can find it in shallow bays and harbors at around 3-9 meters depth.
