Montipora is a genus of Scleractinian corals. It comprises 85 known species with many different growth morphologies. These corals are common on reefs in the Red Se, the southern Pacific Ocean, and the western Indian Ocean. They are not present in the Atlantic Ocean.Montipora corals come in a variety of colors, including brown, orange, grey, pink, green, blue, purple, yellow, or tan.
