The flag cabrilla is a species of grouper found in the eastern Pacific Ocean. It usually prefers shallow water but can be seen at depths up to 30 meters.
This species is recognized by its olive green head and body with a scattering of irregular white spots and blotches. It can attain a maximum total length of 60 centimeters (24 inches).
