Blue Parrotfish
Alternative names: Scarus coeruleus
The blueparrotfish is a reef fish from the genus Scarus. The animals inhabits the tropical and subtopical regions of the Caribbean Sea and western Atlantic Ocean. Their size varies from 30-70 cm (12-30 inches) to 1.2 meters (3 feet). The blue parrotfish spends most of its time searching for food which consists of small organisms and algae.
