Bladder wrack is a seaweed that grows between the high and low water marks on rocky shores. It is recognized by its branching fronds that have air-filled "bladders" . This seaweed grows up to 90 cm (35 in) tall.
It can be found along the coastlines of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the North and Baltic Seas, but also various waters in Canada and the United States.
