Willis Point

No dive has been added to this dive site yet.

Willis Point is a great wall dive site located off the west side of the Saanich Inlet. It is considered one of the best shore dives in Victoria with plenty of things to see. Sculpins, octopus, moon jellies, and decorated warbonnets are some of the creatures you can encounter. Bluntnose sixgill sharks have been spotted here, but it is quite rare to see one.

Along the west side of the wall, you may spot a bathtub that’s frequently moved from place to place by technical divers. Another interesting thing you may come across is the wreck of a personal submarine.

There is typically very little current at Willis Point, but visibility can be poor. The site is suitable for divers of all levels but best for advanced/technical divers.

Divers should pay attention to boat traffic during ascent.
