West Ridge is a dive site located west of Sipadan Island. It features a wall covered with gorgonians, Tubastea and Dendrophyllia corals, and large black coral formations.
Reef sharks are often seen passing by, and Napoleon wrasses may make an appearance too. Common marine life includes groupers, snappers, sweetlips, and anemones.
The average diving depth is 18 meters/60 feet, but one can go deeper. Great visibility of 30+ meters/100+ feet.
Diving is possible all year round and access is done from the shore.
