Viva Shallow is a dive site located in the Bayahibe area. This is a superb spot teeming with life of all sorts. Divers of all levels can explore this colorful site, which is a draw for underwater photographers.

Marine animals are abundant here. Some of the creatures you can expect to see at Viva Shallow include stingrays, barracudas, triggerfish, scorpionfish, stonefish, wrasses, surgeonfish, anthias, frogfish, seahorses, moray eels, as well as beautiful gorgonian fans and tube sponges.

At about 5 meters/16 feet you can also see some pirate cannons and an ancient anchor.

Diving is possible year-round. The currents are low and visibility is good, reaching up to 30 meters/100 feet.
