Viking Cave (Tham Phaya Nak in Thai) is one of the best dive sites located off Koh Phi Phi Leh. It’s found at the bottom of a limestone cliff on the northeastern side of the island.
The name comes from the paintings discovered on the eastern walls of the cave, including one that resembles a Drakkar. The paintings are believed to be made by sailors taking shelter in the cave.
Some of the highlights of the dive include a variety of hard corals and sea fans, as well as fish life of all kinds: scorpionfish, lionfish, batfish, sea turtles, and blacktip reef sharks.
