Twins

Improve

Twins, or Twin Peaks, is one of Koh Tao's most visited dive sites. Located on the west of Koh Nang Yuan, it features two similar rock formations and a smaller pinnacle.

With a depth of 5 to 20 meters (16 - 65 feet) and calm conditions, it's a dive spot suitable for all divers, even beginners.

At a depth of about 15 meters (49 feet) there's a simple swim-through and also plenty of overhangs and crevices filled with life.

Many forms of marine life can be found here. Among the most common to be seen it's worth mentioning the bearded scorpionfish, bluespotted stingrays, harlequin sweetlips, and moray eels.

The visibility is usually good, more than 20 meters (65 feet). The site is perfect for underwater photography.

A truly unforgettable experience. Perhaps lacking in coral compared to many of the sites we've dived in since, but a beautiful setting with some fantastic marine life.
