Turtle Rock

Turtle Rock is a dive site located off the north-western side of Similan Island, west of Donald Duck Bay. It’s named after a turtle-shaped rock found at the surface. However, sea turtles are commonly seen here as well.

The site consists of boulders, swim-throughs, and canyons, and stretches of staghorn coral, brain corals, and table corals.

Blue-spotted stingrays, spotted garden eels, moray eels, gobies, titan triggerfish, groupers, parrotfish, trevallies, lionfish, boxfish, crustaceans like crabs and lobsters, and invertebrates like nudibranchs and sea cucumbers are some of the marine animals you can see here. Zebra sharks may make an appearance too. There’s also a chance to spot whale sharks and manta rays.

The dive depth is only 10 – 15 meters/32 – 50 feet, suitable for all divers. Night diving is possible when the currents aren’t strong.
