The Tumakohua Pass dive site is located in the Fakarava atoll, Tuamotu Archipelago.

What makes this drift site a great dive is that, at about 28 meters (92 feet), there's a cave which acts as a great viewing area for grey sharks. There hundreds and hundreds of sharks swimming these waters.

Along the rich coral growth, divers can also observe parrotfish, goatfish, barracudas, groupers, becunes, perch, and many other fish.

The site has an average depth of 20 meters (66 feet) and a maximum depth of 40 meters (131 feet), with a visibility of up to 30 meters (98 feet).

Tumakohua Pass experiences medium current and is suitable for advanced divers.
