The Trinity Caves are some of Grand Cayman's most popular dive spots. Located off the coast of West Bay, this dive site became famous in the ‘90s when it appeared in the movie The Firm, starring Tom Cruise.
Surprisingly, you won’t find any “caves” there, but three massive coral canyons that created exciting swim-throughs. Divers can enter a large opening at the top of the reef at about 12 meters/40 feet and then descend to about 24 meters/78 feet before exiting over another popular dive site in the Cayman Islands – the West Wall.
The area also features large tube sponges, black coral, and sea fans. Marine life is abundant, with dense schools of silversides and colorful angelfish, parrotfish, and tangs. Spotted lobsters and other crustaceans can be seen here as well.
The Trinity Caves are suitable for advanced divers.
